How LScale collects, uses, and shares personal information — written to be read, not skimmed past.

1. Who we are

This website and the LScale service are operated by Launch & Scale Studio LLC ("LScale", "we", "us"), a Delaware limited liability company with a registered address at 611 South Dupont Highway, Suite 102, Dover, DE 19901, United States. You can reach us at hello@lscale.io or +1 (323) 577-7093.

LScale provides managed AI employees for service businesses, starting with a Managed AI Receptionist that answers calls, qualifies leads, books appointments, and updates business records on behalf of our customers.

2. What this policy covers

This policy describes how we handle personal information when you:

  • visit this website;
  • submit the "Create Your AI Employee" form;
  • book a call with us through our scheduling provider;
  • call our demo line or speak with our AI Receptionist;
  • become a customer of the LScale service.

An important distinction. When LScale runs an AI Receptionist for a business customer, the recordings and details of that business's customer calls are processed on the business's behalf and under its instructions. In those calls, the business you called is responsible for how your information is used; we act as its service provider. This policy governs data we collect for our own purposes.

3. What we collect

Information you give us

  • Onboarding form: first name, work email, industry, and optionally a phone number.
  • Scheduling: details you provide when booking a call via our scheduling provider (Calendly).
  • Correspondence: anything you send to hello@lscale.io.

Calls with our AI Receptionist

Calls to our own line, including the demo line, are answered by our AI Receptionist and may be recorded, transcribed, and summarized. A disclosure is configured at the start of the call flow. If you do not want to be recorded, you can hang up and email us instead.

Collected automatically

Our website is a static site. We do not currently run advertising trackers or third-party analytics cookies. Our hosting infrastructure may keep standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) for security and operations. Third-party pages you continue to — scheduling and AI-creation flows — set their own cookies under their own policies.

Founder decision needed If analytics (e.g., GA4, Plausible) or advertising pixels are added later, this section and a cookie notice must be updated first. Current statement is only true while the site stays tracker-free.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to your request and set up your AI Receptionist;
  • to contact you about your request, including by phone if you provided a number;
  • to provide, configure, test, monitor, and improve the managed service for you;
  • to bill for the service, including automatic card billing for additional credits as described in our Terms of Service;
  • to keep the service safe, prevent abuse, and comply with law.
Founder decision needed Whether customer call data is used to improve or train AI models beyond the customer's own configuration is not decided. This policy makes no claim either way. Decide, then state it here explicitly — buyers ask this question directly.

5. Who we share it with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who process it for us: the AI voice platform that powers agent creation and calls, our customer-relationship-management system, our scheduling provider (Calendly), our email and hosting providers, and — once billing is live — a payment processor. Each is bound by its own contractual terms;
  • Professional advisers and authorities where the law requires it;
  • A successor entity if LScale is acquired or reorganized, in which case this policy continues to apply to previously collected data.

When you continue from our form to the AI-creation flow, you leave our site and enter a third-party platform; its privacy policy applies to what you enter there.

6. Your privacy rights

Twenty US states, including Delaware and California, grant residents rights over personal data — typically access, correction, deletion, portability, and opting out of sale or targeted advertising. Many of these laws apply only above processing thresholds that LScale does not currently meet. We honor these requests regardless of thresholds: email hello@lscale.io with the subject "Privacy request" and we will respond within 45 days. We will not discriminate against you for exercising these rights.

Visitors from the EU / UK

If you visit from the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we process your data on the legal bases of consent (form submissions), contract (providing the service), and legitimate interest (site security). You additionally have rights to object, to restrict processing, and to lodge a complaint with your supervisory authority. Our services are hosted in the United States, so your data is transferred there.

Attorney review required EU/UK matters: whether an Article 27 EU representative is required, the correct transfer mechanism (SCCs), and whether serving EU visitors is in scope at all for launch. Also confirm Delaware DPDPA (effective Jan 1, 2025 — low thresholds and no revenue floor) and CCPA applicability as volume grows.

7. Retention

We keep personal information only as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above, after which it is deleted or de-identified. You may request deletion at any time at hello@lscale.io.

Founder decision needed Specific retention periods — for call recordings, transcripts, form leads, and data of cancelled customers — are not established. This draft deliberately avoids inventing them. Set the schedule with counsel and state it here.

8. Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards appropriate to the size of our business, and we limit access to personal information to those who need it to operate the service. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any third-party security certification.

9. Children

Our website and services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the effective date. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or sent to the email you provided.
